Radio Flyer Product Design

I approach product design as a system, not a moment.

As a senior product and graphic designer at Radio Flyer, I led 30+ products from concept to shelf at retailers like Target and Walmart, and influenced 100+ more across the product line. I owned CMF, graphics and product branding across nearly every product, defining how the brand comes to life across all categories.

Driven by the magic of play, I design for my inner child.

creating products that spark joy and become part of lasting memories, while still feeling new and true to a 100+ year legacy brand.

My work balances creativity with real-world constraints, designing products that succeed in retail, manufacturing, and scale while still feeling distinctive and brand-forward.

Scan & Sort Grocery Cart
Designing for how kids actually grow, play, and learn

The Problem

Existing toy shopping carts were either too heavy and unsafe for early walkers, or too small and flimsy to grow with the child. Shopping carts aren’t just toys — they evolve with the child, from walking support to collecting to full role-play.
Most products only supported one stage.

Solution

Designed a cart that grows with the child as a stable walker, expandable height to grow as the child ages and integrated play features such as a shape sorter and interactive scanner.

Elevated the product beyond typical plastic toys by pushing for built-in textures and finishes for added value and silk screen branding (requiring new factory capability).

Impact

Won Infant and Toddler Toy of the Year in 2025 and is a highly loved product with 4.8★ rating on Amazon across 500+ reviews.
